Meet Our Staff
Mike Willett, PT, GPS
Director of Physical Therapy
Michael Willett, PT, GPS is a Licensed Physical Therapist and a 1997 Graduate of the University of (Hogeschool) Eindhoven, The Netherlands, He is a native of Southwest Florida, specifically Fort Myers, and has almost two decades of experience. Willett has been in private practice in Naples since 2000 years providing Orthopedic, Sports, Spine and Fall Prevention physical therapy. Mike has established a team of clinicians that have the same treatment philosophy that includes going above and beyond with the care of our patients in a friendly, one-on-one atmosphere that you deserve. As an educator by nature, he will explain your condition and any recommended treatment options in great detail and provide you with the support and encouragement you deserve.
“A common compliment I get from my patients is something very simple – we put our hands on our patients. These same patients are frustrated with other therapies where they found themselves just doing exercises that can be done at home and many times left alone. This is not the treatment philosophy you will experience here at PSR. At PSR, combining the right manual therapy treatment techniques with the right exercises and modalities has proven to create happier patients through better outcomes.”
Mike is also a Certified Golf Performance Specialist and runs the Body Balance’s FitGolf Performance program. He has owned the licensed BBFP training facility in Naples since 2000 working with golfers who wish to return safely to playing golf after rehabbing from an injury, to those golfers looking for that extra edge in golf performance by getting fit for golf. Mike has been a featured guest on The Golf Channel Academy with Rick Smith, featured in the book, “Paper Tiger – An Obsessed Golfer’s Quest to Play With The Pros”, by Tom Coyne and recognized with the Henry B Watkins Award from the Southwest Florida Chapter PGA. He has worked with all skill levels and ages from junior golfers to PGA / Canadian Tour Players.
When Willett is not taking care of his patients, he is an active father with his 13 year old son where they enjoy going to Tampa Bay Ray games, paddle boarding, paintball, exercising and exposing his son to the game of golf.
